Movana ("Movana," "we," "us," or "our") is an offline music player application for iOS (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.

Movana allows users to import, organize, edit, and play music files stored locally on their own devices. We do not provide music downloads, and we do not upload, host, or share users' music files on our servers.

1. Introduction

We are committed to protecting your privacy and minimizing data collection. By default, Movana does not require user account registration and does not intentionally collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, phone number, or mailing address.

This Privacy Policy is intended to support compliance with applicable privacy laws and Apple App Store requirements, including Apple App Store Review Guideline 5.1 relating to privacy and data transparency.

Google Drive Access

If you choose to import music from Google Drive, the App requests Google Drive permission solely to read, import, and play the local music files that you specifically select. We do not use this permission for any unrelated purpose, and we will never upload your selected music files or personal content to any third-party servers as part of this feature.

Firebase Analytics and Crash Reporting

Movana currently uses Firebase services, including Firebase Analytics and/or Firebase Crashlytics, to collect limited technical and diagnostic information, such as:

Retention

Because most information is stored locally on your device, it remains there until you delete it, remove it from the App, clear app data, or uninstall the App.

Diagnostic data collected through Firebase may be retained by the applicable service provider according to its own retention practices.

5. Third-Party Services

Apple

If you download or use Movana through the Apple App Store, Apple may process certain information under its own terms and privacy policy. Apple's handling of such information is governed by Apple's own policies.

Movana uses Firebase services such as Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to help us understand app performance and fix technical issues.

Future Features

Movana does not currently use user music files for advertising, subscription management, or cloud hosting. If future versions introduce subscriptions, advertising-related features, or additional data processing, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any required disclosures.

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability of personal information we control.
